Authors must adhere to the IEEE Conference paper format. Draft version of papers should be submitted for review before the Full Paper Submission deadline. Papers must be written in English. Only PDF files will be accepted for review. Up to 6 pages (including figures and references) are allowed for Regular and Special Session papers. Up to two (2) extra pages are allowed with an extra fee paid at registration time. Papers exceeding 8 pages will not be accepted. Total file size must not exceed 4000 kB. Pages should follow the IEEE double-column format (US letter size). Detailed instructions for IEEE-ISIE2022 paper preparation can be found at http://www.ieee-ies.org/conferences/paper-format-for-conferences.

Instructions for Authors - Work-In-Progress Papers

The submissions in the Work in Progress (WiP) papers category describe research that has not yet produced the results required for a regular paper, but that due to its novelty and potential impact deserves to be shared with the community at an early stage. These submissions need to follow the guidelines for the regular and special session submissions, but limited to four (4) pages (total length including references). Submissions in the Work in Progress category shall provide preliminary but convincing results to qualify for acceptance.

WiP papers should be submitted to a regular track and will be managed by the corresponding track chairs (check here the list of regular tracks).

WiP contributors are expected to give a short presentation of their work (3 minutes) and to prepare a poster for the discussion forum that will take place after the presentations. Specifically, each WiP paper shall be presented by one of the authors in a very short oral presentation of 3 minutes, without any ensuing discussion in its respective session. After the session, the paper shall also be presented as a poster in the poster area during the following coffee break.
