The IEEE ISIE 2022 is the 31st Industrial Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), focusing on frontier technologies for industries, applications of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence. The objectives of the conference are to provide high quality research and professional interactions for the advancement of science, technology, and fellowship. Papers on completed work with new results, or work-in-progress in novel research are encouraged for submission.
Tutorial Proposals
The ISIE 2022 Organizing Committee solicits tutorial proposals from field experts in all areas of interest for IES. The tutorials could cover research in emerging areas, as well as more established cutting-edge techniques with strong practical and industrial relevance.
Special Session Proposals
Special Session proposals are solicited covering special topics in all emerging research areas of interest for IES, particularly for themes not covered by the regular tracks. We also welcome sessions on special technologies for rural areas, remote sites and extreme weather conditions, in a variety of applications, - from energy, transportation, and manufacturing, to health, food, and education.
Proposals for a Demo Project Competition
The ISIE 2022 Organizing Committee solicits student proposals for a demo project competition (by
December 1, 2021 January 10, 2022) in technical areas of relevance for the IES. The competition proposals should involve practical implementation demos in current research areas, preferably addressing open challenges.

Call for Work-in-Progress
ISIE 2022 is offering a new track for your research Work-in-Progress (WiP). This is a great opportunity for you to share the early stages of your novel research with the community, in all ISIE relevant research areas, including the Special Sessions.
Accepted and registered WiP papers copyrighted to IEEE will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

WiP papers should have all the sections of a regular paper, starting with an introduction section where the problem, problem statement, some related literature review, and the proposed NOVELTY with justification are presented concisely. Novelty and contribution is essential for WiP papers. The authors are expected to provide a technical description of this novel approach in the next section, and support the idea with some preliminary results, followed by a brief discussion of why the results have promise, and the planned next steps.

WiP papers should not exceed 4 pages and should be submitted latest by March 2, 2022.
