Call for Special Sessions
The IEEE-ISIE 2022 organizing committee invites academicians and professionals in the area of industrial electronics to propose special sessions to be held at IEEE-ISIE 2022 in Anchorage, Alaska, USA, between June 1-3, 2022. The conference is planned for physical attendance, with the potential option of virtual participation.

Special sessions provide the opportunity to focus in detail on particular emerging topics, which are not covered in the conference’s main technical tracks, and/or to introduce a specific progressive area where researchers would like to meet and discuss advances.
​
Within this scope, while we solicit proposals on special topics in all IES areas of interest, we also welcome sessions on special technologies for rural areas, remote sites and extreme weather conditions, for diverse applications, - from energy, transportation, and manufacturing, to health, food, and education.

Proposal guidelines
Special Session proposals should use the template below with all the listed sections addressed adequately:

Title of the special session;

Brief description of the area of research (approximately 100-200 words), and its relevance to industrial electronics and IES interests;

The name and contact information of two or more special session organizers, who are willing to promote the activity and ensure a quality submission and review process for a successful session;

Brief CVs and background of the organizers in relevance to the proposed activity;

List of potential authors anticipated to submit to the session (at least 6), and their affiliations;

A list of potential reviewers and their affiliations;

The sponsoring IES Technical Committee(s) (if any);

The title of possible other Special Sessions, proposed by some of the co-organizers, in case of multiple SS proposal submissions.
Interested session organizers are requested to submit their proposals to SS.Chairs@ieee-isie2022.org, latest by December 1, 2021 December 10, 2021. Notification of acceptance will be sent by December 13, 2021.
